CONSOLIDATED TRANSPORTS BY SEA FREIGHT –
WORLDWIDE WITH ALPI

WE DELIVER YOUR LCL SHIPMENTS SAFELY TO THEIR DESTINATION –
WOLDWIDE, REGULARY, PLANNABLE.

Consolidated transport by sea freight – also known as LCL (less than container load) transport – is the ideal solution if your shipment does not require the entire space of a container.
ALPI Germany combines your goods with other shipments in a consolidated container. This reduces costs, conserves resources, and enables regular, predictable departures on international routes.
Whether LCL shipments to Brazil, break bulk to the USA, or individual pallets to Canada – with ALPI Germany, you benefit from fixed schedules, a global partner network, and a personal contact in Germany who keeps an eye on your entire transport chain.

BRAZIL

HERE’s HOW IT WORKS

USA

Consolidated shipments to the USA – fast, reliable, and comprehensive coverage

ALPI Germany offers a particularly time-optimized transport solution for LCL shipments to the USA.
We combine smooth pick-up throughout Europe with our HUB concept in New York, including our own container freight station. This means your shipments reach their recipients in the USA in just a few days.
As soon as the ship leaves Europe, our team of experts at ALPI USA takes over. From there, we coordinate delivery across all states – including in-house customs clearance by our ALPI customs broker on request.
The big advantage: land transport from New York is significantly faster than complete sea freight to the west coast. This means your goods reach destinations such as Los Angeles or Chicago in the shortest possible time.

  • USA (e.g., New York, Miami): approx. 14–22 days sea transport time, plus pre- and post-carriage and customs clearance.

  • Brazil (e.g., Santos, Rio de Janeiro): approx. 22–30 days, also plus pre- and post-carriage times and customs clearance.

LCL is billed by cubic meter (cbm) or ton – whichever is higher
(W/M = Weight/Measure). In addition, there are consolidation warehouse fees, documentation and customs costs, as well as port and handling fees in the destination country.

Yes. Dangerous goods (DG), perishable goods, or particularly bulky goods may not be able to be loaded into the consolidated container or may require special packaging/declarations. For Brazil, particularly accurate documentation is also required, as strict customs regulations apply (e.g., mandatory information in commercial invoices and packing lists).
